The Cosmopolitan, a new condominium in Singapore

The cost of items are getting more and more expensive nowadays. The rate of inflation is much higher then the increase in wages.  Costs of housing is skyrocketing  and out of the reach of the average worker.

A HDB flat now costs between $200K- $800K depending on location and size. A reasonably size condominium can range from $1M upwards.  The prices are seriously ridiculous due to the speculators who artificially jack up the price of housing.

Upgrading to a condominium is out of our range for the moment.  However it is not a thought which we are ruling out for the future.
