Insane Goals~ September

This month I intend to start really listing down the goals which I want to achieve monthly. I saw this over at Simply Rebekah and felt that it’s really time I should be more accountable since the Mid Year Review

Weight Lost Goals

My weight is still stuck at 63/64kg . It has been a few months and there hasn’t been a real decline in weight loss. I’ve been eating  quite a bit during our holidays to HongKong and trying out cooking and baking new treats for the family. I really need to psycho myself to take  smaller portions and step up exercising to be able to see some new numbers.

  • Stair climbing (x2) 5 times a week
  • Zumba WII 3 times a week
  •  Eat more fruits and vegetables
  • Eat smaller portions of baked products ( stuff more to the kids/friends)
  • Try not to eat too much junk food/ drink  soda.

Household maintainance

  • Pack and reorganize Tiger girl’s, mine and R’s clothes drawers.
  • Organize the kids library and sort out the books.
  • Clear out expired stuff from the pantry.
  • Clean up the fridge.

 

Educating the kids

  • Make new Japanese flashcards for the card holder.
  • Teach Tiger Girl new songs in Chinese.
  • brushing up on Monkey boy’s comprehension skill for both English and Chinese.
  • Getting Doggie boy to do more writing and sentence formation in both English and Chinese.
  • Getting the kids to read more in English/Chinese before bedtime.
  • Read the bible at least once every fortnight.
  • Pray more often with them.

 

For theblog

  • Add more guest posts on Dominique’s Desk on a regular basis.
  • Finish up day 26-30 of   Husbands Encouragement Wives Challenge.
  • Increase revenue to fund hosting the blog.
  • Add more short series and finish up on the book reviews.

 

I guess that’s about all I can think for the moment. Will check back at the end of the month.

    Great list! I hope you do better at eating more fruits and veggies than I’ve been doing! 🙂

    for the workout goal, i received a great tip a long time ago that the key is to plan to work out every single day.

    i know. it sounds masochistic but it works.

    i don’t remember where i got this tip from, but the idea was that scheduling “off” days sets us up for failure and slacking off from the beginning. of course, it’s not realistic for most of us to exercise every single day, but planning to do so definitely makes a huge difference 🙂
