Scripture

Esther 7: 3-4

Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if it pleases you, grant me my life—this is my petition. And spare my people—this is my request. For I and my people have been sold to be destroyed, killed and annihilated. If we had merely been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept quiet, because no such distress would justify disturbing the king.[a]

Joshua 1: 9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Observation

Esther finally had her chance to let the King know what was on her mind and what her wish was for. She was not scared of being punished for making such a request but more for the lives for her fellowman.  She cares for others more then herself and has the courage to stand up for their rights.

Application

One should not be afraid and go all out to achieve what they have set their minds on. God will be there to give you all the support that you need to carry  out our task.

Prayer

Dear GOD

teach me how to be strong and courageous. I know that I lack the confidence at time and it has been hampering my progression of certain goals.

AMEN
