April Bible Reading- Week 2- Day 5

April 3, 2015

1 Peter 2: 23-24

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

Jesus bears no grudge. He does  not blame others for the predicaments that he is in. He takes it as the way GOD wants it to be and is a obedient son.  He suffered for us so that we will not have to go through the pains that he bore on our behalf.

Sometimes we just need to remember that the sufferings that we are currently undergoing is all for the better and it IS part of GOD’s plan for us. We need to be steadfast and keep our faith in GOD as he will bring us through the trying years.

Dear GOD,

help me to endure all the sufferings that come my way. Even though it may be extremely torturous for me and I seem ready to give up and throw the towel, help me to keep on trucking on.
